” When it comes to formulating a clear vision, analysing interests and mapping a stakeholder landscape within the realm of green energy transition and Net Zero pursuits, and identifying relevant stakeholders to engage and cross pollinate with, then steering is important.
Karen Marie Sandgren did just that, as Steering Committee Chair, of the “Decarbonising the Industrial Value Chain” stakeholder conference the Danish-UK business community rallied around - with their respective supply chain stakeholders - to discuss under the umbrella of the Danish-UK Association. With her vast experience as advisor on strategic outreach and stakeholder engagement in a complex international landscape of varied interests she brought a level of expertise that helped to sharpen the narrative, matching the level of leadership enabling an engagement that set off this stakeholder event on a good path from the start.
This was the 3rd time she has taken on this role as active member of the Danish-UK Association, first time in 2016, second time 2018, and then 6th June 2023. Having an active membership is vital for any community gives a position of increased strength and outreach for all involved, and I am pleased and honoured Karen Marie is one such member.
